The damaged 11 Upper guide bearing pads released from Unit 3 shall be re-babbitted and reconditioned, to keep as a spare set. The babbitt material of all 11 damaged components shall be melted completely up to the base metal and re-babbitting shall be carried out in line with approved drawings. Agency shall Transport these 11 nos. of UGB pads from KPCL, SGS, Jogfalls site to his Works and after Re-babbitted and reconditioned UGB Pads shall be packed securely and transported back to SGS site. (Detailed Technical Specifications are available in Section-III - scope of Work bid document ).
