Cookie & Tracking Policy

Last updated: September 15, 2026 • CONTRACQ Technologies (contracq.in)

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small cryptographic text files placed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you access web platforms. They enable the platform to authenticate sessions, remember preference settings (such as dark or light theme modes), protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF), and maintain your security state.

2. Categories of Cookies Used by CONTRACQ

Essential & Authentication CookiesMandatory

These cookies are technically indispensable for the operation of CONTRACQ. They store your encrypted session token (better-auth.session_token) and protect your workspace from unauthorized account hijacking. Disabling these cookies prevents you from logging in.

Preference & UI State CookiesFunctional

Remember your visual theme choice (Light vs Dark mode), collapsed sidebar preferences, and default tender search filters between visits.

Payment Gateway Cookies (Razorpay)Third-Party Secure

When you initiate an upgrade to Pro or Enterprise, Razorpay sets secure session cookies to verify OTPs, authenticate 3D Secure bank protocols, and prevent duplicate checkout attempts.

3. Zero Third-Party Advertising Trackers

CONTRACQ is a professional enterprise B2B platform. We do not embed third-party advertising networks, behavioral ad trackers, or pixel beacons (such as Facebook Pixel or cross-site commercial ad networks). Your search queries, contractor watchlist, and tender activity are strictly confidential.

4. Managing & Clearing Cookies

You can manage, restrict, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
  • Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

*Note: Clearing essential session cookies will log you out of your CONTRACQ workspace and reset your active search filters.
